--BMH completes the construction of its 101st detachable ropeway

   The Beidahu Ski Resort No. 7 ropeway in Jilin Province successfully passed its acceptance inspection by the National Center of Passenger Aerial Ropeway Safety Supervision and Inspection on December 29, 2022. This ropeway was funded and built by Jilin Qiaoshan Beidahu Industry Co., Ltd., and designed and manufactured by Beijing Materials Handling Research Institute Co., Ltd. (BMH). 

    The No. 7 ropeway spans a horizontal length of 1,542 meters and has a vertical rise of 290.5 meters. It is supported by 11 towers along the length, operates at a maximum run speed of 6 meters per second, and can transport up to 2,400 passengers per hour (PPH) in one way. This ropeway is the 33rd detachable ropeway developed by BMH and the 5th such ropeway that BMH has constructed at the Beidahu Ski Resort. With this completion, BMH has successfully developed 101 detachable ropeways, marking the beginning of its journey toward achieving the goal of building another 100 detachable ropeways. 

    Located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, Beidahu Ski Resort is one of the premier ski destinations in China. With a maximum vertical drop of 875 meters and up to 160 days of snow cover annually, the resort offers near-perfect snow conditions, earning it the title of “Skiing Destination and Powder Snow Paradise.” For the 2022-2023 ski season, the Beidahu Ski Resort has been completely upgraded, now featuring 47 ski runs that cover a total length of 72 kilometers and an area of 204 hectares. With the introduction of the new ropeway, the Beidahu Ski Resort now has a total capacity of 24,000 PPH, fully catering to the needs of skiers of all skill levels. It is widely recognized as a premier skiing destination for enthusiasts across the country. 

    In addition, Beidahu also features another three detachable ropeways from BMH, which are set to serve skiers in 2023 and are currently under intense construction.
