The Mono-Cable Pulsating Fixed Grip Tramway, known simply as a “pulsating ropeway”, features an array of cabins distributed evenly along the line, with each arrangement consisting of 2 to 4 cabins. When the cabins enter the station, they slow to a low speed to make it easy for passengers to board and disembark. After leaving the station, they accelerate to high speed. This alternating pattern of low and high speeds is the reason for the name “pulsating ropeway.” The pulsating ropeway achieves a maximum run speed of 5 meters per second. It is designed for convenient passenger boarding and disembarking, features self-acting doors, automatic operation, and less occupied buildings, making it perfect for small to medium-sized tourist attractions and ski resorts. Having developed the first pulsating ropeway in China, BMH has been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The company has extensive experience in designing and building pulsating ropeways, and its single-boom six-seat cabin and double-boom eight-seat horizontal tramway technology are recognized as industry leaders in China.
