The passenger funicular runs on steel tracks and uses wire ropes to draw the gondolas along the rails for transporting passengers. This system merges rail technology with suspension rope technology, characterized by a high level of automation, easy maintenance, and the flexibility to incorporate curved lines. BMH is the developer of the national standards for passenger funiculars. It has mastered core technologies for the passenger funicular, including track brakes, communication between stations, and seamless track systems, allowing it to design and fabricate funiculars with mono- or bi-cables and different gondola capacities.
